Fees/Payment/Insurance:

  • In network with Regence and Aetna

  • 60-90 minute intake appointments: $350-500

  • 15-minute telemedicine and in person assessment & med management follow up:  $175

  • (Note: For controlled substances (stimulants, benzodiazepines, and MAT), medications will not be refilled outside of appointment times.)

  • 30-minute telemedicine and in person assessment & med management follow up: $225.00

  •  Targeted Adult Autism Evaluations: $1200 flat fee, which includes the evaluation appointment, review of documentation, and report.

  • ​Targeted Adult ADHD Evaluations: $1200 flat fee, which includes the evaluation appointment, review of documentation, and report.

  • ​Combined Adult Autism & ADHD Evaluations: $2000 flat fee, which includes the evaluation appointment, review of documentation, and report.

 **Tasks requiring out of session time such as employment-related paperwork or telephone calls in excess of 5-10 minutes are billed at $350 per hour on a prorated, cumulative basis billed monthly. When possible, forms will be completed during appointments. Please tell me in advance if you are bringing forms to an appointment so we can allot an adequate amount of time within the session. Forms not disclosed prior to the appointment are more likely to incur additional cost to complete.

Policies

This information is intended to be clear and direct, in order to avoid confusion. Given that it can be difficult to discern tone in written communication, particularly with someone you have never met, I encourage you to read this in a conversational tone that is matter-of-fact but not stern.

  • Follow-up appointments that are rescheduled or cancelled less than 48 hours prior to the appointment will incur a $100 fee. Not showing up for your scheduled appointment is considered a late cancellation.

  • Intake appointments, including ASD and ADHD evaluations, that are rescheduled or cancelled less than 3 business days prior will incur a $200 fee.

  • Tasks requiring out of session time such as employment-related paperwork or telephone calls in excess of 5-10 minutes are billed at $350 per hour on a prorated, cumulative basis billed monthly. When possible, forms will be completed during appointments. Please take this into consideration when scheduling.

  • Please note that insurance companies will not reimburse for missed appointment fees and you will be responsible for payment. Late cancellation fees must be paid prior to making a new appointment. More than three missed appointments in a year may result in termination of services. 

  • All patients must call their insurance company to verify that I am contracted to provide mental health services for you. When you call your insurance company, you will need to provide them with my full name (Kristine Highlander). Some companies may ask for my NPI #1689083032.
    **If you are covered under two insurance policies, it is your responsibility to confirm which policy is primary, and which is secondary.
